Neighbours from Sandwick, in Orkney's West Mainland, Mona Wood and Elizabeth Herdman have been singing and playing together since the late 1980s. Accordionist Mona is accompanied by Elizabeth, on piano - who also performed at our very first festival, in 1983 – playing a selection of Scottish, Irish and Orcadian tunes.
